Kurt Christian Behring

Kurt was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to so many people. He was born and raised in Chico, California. He was the third of four children born to Herbert and Signe Behring. In his youth, Kurt enjoyed many hobbies, such as drawing, writing, and performing magic tricks. Throughout his life, he also enjoyed golf, hunting, swimming, water skiing, and snow skiing. Kurt graduated from Chico High School in 1980 and went on to graduate from Menlo College in Menlo Park, CA. in 1982 and Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. in 1984. After college, Kurt started out in the insurance business, working for Farmers Insurance, both in California and Colorado for 20 years. He then followed his passion for the stock market and went to work for Oppenheimer Funds in Denver. From there he moved on to Charles Schwab in Denver where he has worked for the last 7 years. Kurt is preceded in death by his father, Herbert B. Behring; survived by his mother, Signe Behring; brothers, Erik Behring and Karl Behring; sister, Kristin Behring Baltodano; paternal aunt, Ann Montgomery; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
