Kyle Joseph Dascher

Kyle Joseph Dascher, 24, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away on April 27, 2012 at his home in Thornton. Kyle was born on January 26, 1988 in Westminster, Colorado. Kyle was a student at the University of Colorado majoring in Philosophy, Linguistics, and Psychology. In December 2010, he graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Microbiology and received the Outstanding Graduating Senior in Microbiology Award. Kyle was passionate about learning. He was an avid reader always striving to further understand the world. Kyle will be forever missed.

Kyle is survived by his parents, Joseph and Cynthia Dascher; siblings, Katherine Ellsworth and Benjamin Dascher; brother-in-law, Aaron Ellsworth; niece, Adelyn Ellsworth; grandmothers, Jeanne Dascher and Mary Anne Kern; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Albury J. Dascher and Robert S. Kern, Sr.

Visitation will be Thursday, from 4 to 7pm followed by a Recitation of the Rosary, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant St., Thornton. Funeral Mass will be Friday, 10am, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Dr., Northglenn. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In honor of Kyle’s compassionate and thoughtful manner, a memorial has been established with Community Reach Center of Adams County. If you would like to make a donation please see information below, so Kyle’s desire to help others will continue. Funds will provide medical care to individuals with mental health needs who would otherwise be unable to receive services.
