Kyle Robert William Wojahn

June 16, 1996 — February 23, 2024

Kyle Robert William Wojahn, a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024 in Denver, Colorado. Born on June 16th, 1996 in Calgary, Alberta to Jeff Wojahn and Sharon Neale. He was the loving brother of Josh Wojahn and cherished grandchild of Jean Neale as well as Karl and Helen Wojahn. Kyle also leaves behind aunts, uncles and cousins who adored him.

Kyle's love for life was evident from an early age. His adventurous spirit led him to explore the great outdoors with boundless enthusiasm. Whether it was hiking through rugged terrain or scaling majestic peaks; he found solace in nature's beauty.

His kind heart and optimistic outlook touched everyone he met. Kyle faced challenges with unwavering bravery and approached every situation with generosity and compassion that left a lasting impact on those around him.

An accomplished geologist by profession; his passion for nature shone through his work as he dedicated himself to understanding the Earth's wonders. His love for adventure extended beyond his professional life - excelling at hockey, lacrosse, rock climbing, fishing, backpacking, golfing with friends or skiing down snow-covered slopes brought immense joy into his life. He also loved reading and watching Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, watching anime and playing video games with his friends. He also loved music and playing his guitar.

He attended Cherry Creek High School where he made lifelong friendships before pursuing higher education at the University of Arizona where he received his Bachelor of Science. He continued to excel academically while immersing himself in outdoor pursuits that fueled his soul.

A gifted athlete who thrived in various sports including hockey which ignited fierce competition within him but it was mountaineering and backcountry skiing that truly captured his heart - conquering new heights became a metaphor for how he lived each day: fearlessly embracing challenges head-on without hesitation.
