Lana Kolman

Lana Gail Kolman (Williams), aged 49, died in her home in Littleton on July 24, 2022.  She was born in Long Beach, California on November 29,1972.  A graduate of Long Beach Polytechnic High School she went on to study Childhood Development at Long Beach City College.  Lana met Kristopher Anthony Kolman in California, who had recently relocated from Michigan, and they were wed on March 1, 2003.  Lana and Kristopher on November 18, 2004, five years to day they met, welcomed their daughter Hailey Gail Kolman.  Lana and the family moved to Colorado in 2007, where Kristopher’s job was relocated.  Once in Colorado Lana became a beloved educator in Jefferson County Schools, working in multiple schools and positions but most loved being a paraeducator.

Lana was born with heart issues but never let it slow her down.  She lived a full and vibrant life and was an example for others with a medical condition.  Lana was always a joyful person trying to bring laughter to the situation.  She loved her family with a fierce protectiveness, and would dote on her two beloved cats Tuxedo and Pepper.

Lana is survived by her husband, Kristopher; their daughter, Hailey; her parents, Lynn Williams and Linda Williams (Horst); her siblings, Lane Williams and Lori Stahl (Williams); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her aunt, and beloved cat Tuxedo.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 13th at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Highlands Ranch, starting at 9:30am. A Funeral Service to celebrate Lana’s life will immediately follow at 10:30 am.  Burial services will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cypress, California on Saturday, August 27th after which there will be family visitation at her childhood home in Long Beach.
