Larry G. Ginther, age 91, passed away December 4, 2023.
He was born in Eagle, CO on September 3, 1932, to the late Leonard and Eloise Ginther. He graduated from West High School in 1951 and served in the US Army from 1951 until 1954.
Larry worked for H.W. Moore Equipment Company and Turnpike Construction Company. He retired after 26 years from the Colorado Highway Department. He volunteered with Boy Scouts of America for several years in various positions from Cub Master to Scout Master and participated in leadership training at several levels and was a course director for NC158. He participated as a volunteer for the National Park Service for several years, enjoyed learning about western history and visited many Colorado State Parks and National Parks.
Larry married in 1954 to Barbera “Jodie” Ginther (who survives Larry); and had 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Graveside Service will be at 1:00pm on January 13, 2024, at Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheat Ridge.
