Larry LeDue, a resident of Como, Colorado, passed away on April 28, 2012 in San Quintin, Baja, Mexico. Larry was born on December 12, 1944 in La Jolla, California to Eve and Ernest LeDue. Larry and Doris, his wife of 28 years, built an earthship in Como in Santa Maria Ranch, where they resided and ran a business together for the last 14 years. Larry was a dedicated advocate of solar and renewable energy. His hobbies included hunting, traveling, and building/riding his custom-built chopper motorcycle. Larry is preceded in death by his father, Ernest, and brother, Marty. Larry is survived by his wife, Doris; mother, Eve; step-father, Bill; sister, Mary; sons, Scot and Marc (wife Jennifer); and grandchildren Heather, Matthew, Lauren, Lindsey and Alexandra. Larry was the type of father that every son or daughter dreams about. Always there, always wanting to help, loving, compassionate, caring and somebody that you always wanted to be around. A Memorial Service for Larry will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Rocky Mountain Memorial Park located on the grounds of Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue (at Parker Rd), Aurora, Colorado.
