Larry Olden Moore

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Larry Moore our beloved husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend. Larry left our world too soon and we will miss him deeply. Larry passed unexpectedly on Thanksgiving Day after spending a gorgeous day at the beach with his wife Gale.

Larry is survived by Gale his loving wife of 35 years, his daughter Carrie ( Ed ) and his two fabulous grandchildren, Elle and Cade; as well as his brothers, sister and many nephews and nieces. His beloved son Matthew predeceased Larry.

Larry was born into this world in Painesville, Ohio and moved to Colorado in his twenties. Oh how he loved his newly adopted home state, enjoying many camping, fly fishing and hiking outings. Larry brought joy, kindness and compassion to his world, he was generous and genuinely cared about helping family, friends and neighbors. He had a life-long passion for hot peppers and often prepared his own in the kitchen. He was a well-loved contractor with a great eye for design and detail. He loved his big dog Luca despite his slobber.

Larry truly made this world a brighter, better place reaching out often to help anyone he could that was in need. He will be missed deeply by all who knew him. We all ponder the mysteries of life. Often times what comes along with life's mysteries are tears and sadness. In time, let's move beyond that and celebrate him as the great human, husband, father, brother and friend that he truly was.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM.
