Larry Douglas Walker

Larry Douglas Walker, 76, passed away in Denver Hospice on September 17, 2023. He grew up on Forest Hill Drive in Austintown, Ohio and graduated from Austintown Fitch in 1964.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mathias (Matt) Walker and Mary Ella (Wiley) Walker. Larry is survived by his sister Lois and her husband Fred (Chip) Armeni and his niece, Tammie Armeni, all of Florence, Arizona. He is also survived by his niece Lisa Armeni and her son Dominic Hord, both of Findlay, Ohio. Larry also leaves behind many cousins from the Uniontown, Pennsylvania area.

Larry was a man of exploration, traveling around the world with his first stop in Fort Wayne, Indiana after completing his Drafting/Engineering associate degree at Salem (Ohio) Technical School and then went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Computer Programming from Purdue University-Ft. Wayne in 1972. Larry’s travels took him to Europe, India, Australia, and throughout the U.S. He had lived in Denver for over 30 years, where he worked for United Airlines until his retirement in 2013.
