Laura Charleston

Laura (Laurie) Lee Charleston died Friday, July 22nd, 2022 in Aurora, CO, after a brief illness.

Laurie is survived by her sons, Andrew Fogle of Pueblo, CO, Matthew Fogle of Denver, CO and Timothy Fogle and his wife Diane of Aurora, CO; her brother Mike Charleston and his wife Christine of Papillion, NE; grandchildren Isla and Rhona Fogle of Aurora, niece Erinne Charleston of Papillion and nephew Caelan Charleston of Papillion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Ruth Charleston of Aurora, CO, and two sisters, Wanda Lee in infancy and Gina Marie at age four.

Laurie was born in Holdrege, NE, on Jan. 6, 1957. She earned a bachelor’s degree and later her master’s degree in education. She taught elementary and middle school in Holdrege, NE, Loomis, NE, York, NE and Aurora, CO.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 13 at 2 p.m. at Horan-McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue (at Parker Road), Aurora, CO. A reception will follow.
