Laura Jean Kasuba

Laura J Kasuba was born on August 11, 1966, in Chilton, Wisconsin to Kenneth and Jean (Zanto) Weber. Laura spent her childhood in Watertown, Wisconsin. She attended Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota receiving a Bachelors Degree in Education. Laura moved to the Washington D.C. area, where she eventually trained for computer programming. Laura met her husband David Kasuba and was married May 27, 2000. Laura and Dave eventually moved to West Virginia, and welcomed there son Anthony on November 27, 2004. Laura was offered an opportunity to work in Denver, Colorado, and the family moved to Littleton in 2014. Laura loved music and played both the piano and organ. She was an avid crafter with many family and friends receiving the fruit of her work. Laura enjoyed hiking and having adventures with Dave and Anthony; traveling to many different places, her favorite was Crested Butte. Laura enjoyed game nights with family and friends. She always had a passion for work and her coworkers, regularly bringing treats and always having a full snack drawer. Laura nightly would spend time with Anthony cuddling and reading, spending ""their"" time together. Laura began her courageous battle with cancer in 2012, and fought with dignity, until she lost her battle on September 5th, 2016 surrounded by her family at her home. Laura is preceded in death by her grandparents, father, mother and brother James. Laura is survived by her husband Dave, son Anthony, brothers Mark (Leah) Weber, Phillip (Leona) Weber, Thomas Weber, David (Sue) Weber, sister Kathleen(Joe) Mech, and by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday 2pm, September 11, 2016, at Zion Lutheran Church 2600 S Wadsworth, Denver CO. A gathering will be held immediately following the service at the church. Laura was a colorful, lively person and loved tie dye, the family requests at this celebration of her life you wear something colorful or tie dyed.
