Laura Patricia Sabel

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Laura Patricia Sabel on December 16, 2024 at the age of 56. Laura was born in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico on October 4, 1968. 

Laura’s three year battle with Ovarian cancer ended peacefully as her husband of 25 years held her hand as she passed. Her daughter, son-in-law, mother and brothers also brought much happiness and comfort to her during her final days, while Laura was in hospice care. 

Laura’s passions in life were the raising of and spending time with her daughter, her family, and her artistic pursuits. She created beautiful paintings and artworks. Her love for helping others inspired her to create online courses, through which she taught the art of painting. 

Her selfless kindness, grace, love and sense of humor touched everyone who knew her.

Laura is survived by her husband Jon Sabel, daughter Laura Gahren, son-in-law Frank Gahren, mother Laura Patricia Burguet, brothers Julio Jaime and Juan Jaime. 

We will forever keep Laura alive in our hearts. 

Her family will hold a private life remembrance celebration.
