Laurence ""Larry"" Stone

""Larry"", 84, passed away September 10, 2011. He leaves behind his wife Margaret H. ""Mimi"" Stone; children Machele Stone, Scott Stone, Shannon Stone, Parker Stone and his wife Kimberly, and Carver Stone; grandchildren Joshua Kimsey and Ashley Solay and her husband Christian; and great grandchildren Isabella Kimsey, Reiken Kimsey, Addisen Solay and Colten Solay. Larry was born in San Antonio, TX and is a graduate of Texas Military Institute and Oklahoma University where he earned a degree in petroleum engineering. He spent 60 years in the oil and gas business as owner of Stone Drilling in Farmington, NM, president of Signal Oilfield Service, Denver, and for the last 20 years as a consultant. Most importantly, Larry will be remembered for his devotion to his family and friends, his keen humor and generous spirit. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, located at 11150 E Dartmouth Ave (at Parker Rd), Aurora.
