Lavern ""Gary"" Gehringer, 94, of Denver, passed away April 24, 2017. Preceded in death by his mother and father, wife Dena, son John and brother LaVirtus. Survived by brother Lyle (Ginny), sisters Joan and Mary, sister-in-law Lucille, Children Diane, Jamie, Joseph, Jerry, grandchildren Kayla, Kendra, Kari, Laura, Amy. Donations may be made to Denver Hospice: 501 S. Cherry St. #700, Denver, CO 80246. Services will be held at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, Friday April 28, 2017. Recitation of the Rosary at 10:00am, Funeral Mass at 10:30am, Reception at 11:30am. Burial is Monday May 1, 2017 at 9:15am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area 'C'.
