Lawrence E. Eyman, Jr.

Lawrence Eugene Eyman, Jr., 78, passed away suddenly May 1, 2010 in Aurora, Colorado. He was born June 1, 1931 in Port Angeles, Washington, to June and Lawrence E. Eyman, Sr. He married June B. Pocock July 4, 1952. She preceded him in death August 2, 2002. Lawrence retired from his service in the U.S. Air Force after 26 years. He then worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a shipping clerk at DIA. He and his wife June enjoyed traveling together each year, especially to destinations on the west coast. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family. Lawrence is survived by daughter and son, Kim I. Reum and Larry E. Eyman; 7 grandchildren, Frederic (Melissa), Catherine, Christopher (Kati), Victoria Reum, Michael (Rachel) Younger, Lawrence (Trisha) and Nicholas Eyman; 2 great-grandchildren, Sarah Reum and Wyatt Eyman; and half-sister, Donna Miller of Salem, OR. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 10th, at 10am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Denver, CO 80014. A visitation will be held just prior to the service from 9-10am. Burial will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO at 12:15pm - Pavillion ""C"".
