Lawrence Edward Stasko, 68, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away on October 27, 2016. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Lawrence was born February 29, 1948 to Marian and Richard Stasko in Streator, Illinois. He grew up in Streator and graduated from Streator High School with the Class of 1966. He attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois graduating with the Class of 1970. He attended the University of Wisconsin and received his Master's Degree in Geology in 1974. He married Charlotte Erickson on June 26, 1971. To this union one child was born, Adam Christopher. He worked as a petroleum geologist for the Atlantic Richfield Company, the University of Denver Bookstore and for several years owned and operated a small business-All Star Sports Cards in Littleton, Colorado. Lawrence was an avid sports fan. He supported the Chicago Bears, The Chicago Cubs, and the University of Wisconsin Badgers. He loved to work in his garden and to read historical novels. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Charlotte of Centennial, his son Adam and wife Erika of Centennial, his grandson Wyatt, his brother Gary and wife Lynne of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, mother-in-law Alice Erickson of Essex, Iowa, sister-in-law Sheila Erickson of Essex, Iowa, brother-in-law Mike Erickson and wife Connie of Clarinda, Iowa, brother-in-law Steve Erickson and wife Nancy of Shenandoah, Iowa and many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on November 1, 2016 at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Centennial, Colorado. Memorials may be given to Denver Rescue Mission, Augustana College or the University of Wisconsin in lieu of flowers.
