Lawrence Hugh Graham, 56, was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He passed away on December 20, 2022, surrounded by his family. He attended the Albuquerque Academy and graduated the Class of 1984.
After graduation he worked at Costco and when the Gulf War broke out, he joined the Army Infantry. He proudly served his country and spent time in Korea. When his Army career came to a close, he came back to the states where he continued to work at Costco where he met his future wife, Denice. She still says, "He's the best thing I ever got at Costco". Together they moved to El Paso, Texas for a short time and eventually moved back to Denver where Larry became a Safety Cadet for the City and County of Denver. Larry completed his bachelor's degree and continued to get his master's degree where he graduated with honors in Criminal Justice at The University of Colorado.
Larry became a Police Officer with the City and County of Denver where he worked in several assignments over the years. He completed 25 proud years of service. Larry loved cars, Jeeps, motorcycles, and anything with a motor. He loves his 1972 Chevelle which was a project car for him and his son Scott.
Larry was taken too soon, and the world is a sadder place without him.
He is survived by his loving wife Denice, sons Lance and Scott, his parents Jack and Joan Graham, brother John, Sister Cheryl her husband Paul, nephews Joshua and Troy. In-laws Dion and Tammy Gonzales.
