Leah Brook Johnson

Leah Brook, ""Lady Bird,"" Johnson passed away on April 6, 2016. She was born in Denver, Colorado on February 28, 1999 to Brook and Nancy Johnson. Leah was a junior at Dakota Ridge High School, where she was a member of the cross country team and sang in the choir. Leah's nurturing skills led her to become a certified nursing assistant. She enjoyed ballet, playing her guitar, ice skating and the time she spent with her pet rabbits. Leah had a beautiful spirit, a gifted mind, a kind heart, and she was fiercely independent and wise beyond her years. Leah is survived by her loving parents; brothers, Blake and Hayden; grandparents, Jamie Johnson and Jerry & Betty Nittler; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill Johnson. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, 4:00-7pm, followed by a Rosary. Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at 10 am, with a reception immediately following at St. Louis Catholic Church, 3310 S Sherman St, Englewood, CO 80113.
