Leigh Coyle Anderson October 19, 1979 â February 20, 2016 Leigh Coyle Anderson passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in the early morning hours. She ended her year long battle with breast cancer courageously and surrounded by family and her dear friends. Leigh was born to Greg and Jane Coyle in Madison, Wisconsin on October 19, 1979. She graduated Valedictorian from Edgerton High School in Edgerton, WI and went on to the University of Wisconsin La Crosse where she earned her undergraduate degree. Leigh moved to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and graduated from the College of Law after earning her Doctorate of Jurisprudence. Leigh married the love of her life, Dr. Erik Damon Anderson on August 6, 2006. They were blessed with two children, Brady Damon and Abigail Jane. She was well known as a prominent and well respected attorney in both the Knoxville and Denver legal communities. She was blessed with numerous friends and coworkers from her children's schools and neighborhood community. Leigh enjoyed being active in charities, always willing to give of her time for other people. Her biggest joy was her children and being a loving, engaging and devoted mother. Leigh is survived by her husband, Erik, her young children Brady and Abby, her parents Jane and Greg Coyle, her brother Matt (Jennifer), nephew Michael, grandparents Neal and Tooty Schleif, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Mother and Father in law Judy and Curt Anderson of Texas, aunts and uncles. She is also mourned by friends from the Brown Elementary School and a special network of breast cancer survivors. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff and caregivers at the University of Colorado Breast Center. And to those at the Collier Hospice Center for their excellent personal care. And finally, thanks to those in the Denver community who have contributed so much to our family.
