Lela B. Cross passed away June 8, 2016 at the age of 89. She was born August 4, 1926 to Orville and Dora (Rownd) Mathews in Mound City, Kansas. Survivors include her husband C. Richard Cross; sons Dale (Rita) Banister, Mathew (Cynthia) Cross, David (Carole) Cross; grandchildren Amanda Cross and Kayelynn (Dillon) Jones. A graveside service at Fort Logan National Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, 371 E.
