Leland Bruce Nordine

Leland Bruce Nordine, 72 of Centennial, CO passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019. A celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church, 10150 East Belleview, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.

Lee is survived by his wife Pam, daughters Karlee Ellis (Shane) of Waynesville, OH and Ashley Echols (Chris) of Aurora, CO; son Andy Nordine (Ashley) of Aurora, CO; brother Everett Nordine (Sandy) of Rapid City, SD; grandchildren Tanner, Ryley, Harper and Trace.

Lee was preceded in death by parents Floyd and Marie Nordine, brother Burnett Nordine, sisters Myrtis Allen and Millicent Fredrickson.

Lee was born on August 31, 1947 to Marie and Floyd Nordine in Storm Lake, IA. He was the youngest of five children: Bernett, Everett, Myrtis, Millicent, and Lee. Lee was an avid athlete growing up. He attended Wayne State College in Wayne, NE where he received his bachelors and masters degrees in education. After teaching and coaching in the Westside Community Schools in Omaha, NE, he entered the insurance industry and moved to Denver, CO as a manager for Allstate for thirty years. He joined Five Rings Financial in Littleton, CO fourteen years ago as vice president of life sales. In his spare time, Lee loved spending time with his family and friends and made many memories with others on the golf course. He fueled his passion for athletics by enthusiastically cheering on his children in sports, the Broncos, Nuggets, Avalanche, Creighton Blue Jays, and, of course, his beloved Huskers. We will lovingly carry on Lee's legacy of kindness, integrity, and a strong love of family, friends and faith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Lee may be made to American Heart Association, Littleton Public Schools Foundation, and University of Nebraska Foundation.
