Lenora Florence Mohan

Lenora Mohan was born Febuary 6 1928, in Emmette Kansas to Luther and Laura Sherley. She grew up in Manhattan Kansas were she was the third child of six children. Lenora met and married Gilbert Mohan at the age of 17 together they had a son Gilbert Mohan Jr. and daughter Londa Rae. In 1962 they moved to Colorado where they eventually built their own home in the Mountains a home that made Lenora very proud. Lenora enjoyed Summer the most in the mountains and looked forward to spring, and the arrival of the hummingbird. Lenora worked in Central City for several years. This was perfect for her because she loved nothing more than meeting new people and sharing stories. Lenora truely loved to travel. When Gilbert would say what do you think about going here or there, Lenora would be up and already have their suitcase half-packed. Lenora was just full of life, never meeting a stranger, and always ready for an adventure. After 56 years of marriage, Lenora lost Gil. She then moved into her apartment that she loved, and where she contiued to make several new friends. The loss of Lenora will leave many people with a void.
