Leon Jones Jr.

Leon Jones Jr., 68 of Denver Colorado was born July 18, 1949 in Leoti, Kansas. Leon was a graduate of Greeley County Highschool. Leon is preceded in death by his father, Leon Jones Sr.; and siblings, Shirley and Henry Jones. He is survived by his mother, Bessie Jones; four sisters; two brothers; eight children; and thirteen grandchildren. He began career in the U.S. Army, and spent many years working for Beco as a truck driver, which he loved. Leon was a loving, caring and dedicated individual, who would take the shirt off of his back to help anyone. In his free time, Leon enjoyed driving, spending time with family, playing dominoes and listening to his records. Leon will forever be known for his affectionate laugh and will be missed by many. We will be celebrating the lives of Leon Jones Jr. and Sr., on Monday March 12, 2018, 10:00 AM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service (11150 E. Dartmouth Aurora, CO 80014). Graveside service, 12:00 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area ""A"". Reception to take place in Horan & McConaty's Heartlight Reception Center at 1:00PM.
