Leon K. Thomas

Leon K. Thomas Leon graduated to be with his Heavenly Father on September 9th, 2016. Leon K. Thomas was born in 1939 near Huntington, Indiana to Keith & Mary Thomas. He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1957. In 1963, he married Suzanne ""Marlene"" Kocher at Forest Lawn Chapel, Cypress, CA. He and his family settled in Littleton, CO in 1974 after several moves with the Navy and retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer after 21 years of service. He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1981. His second 20 year career was with The Associates Financial Services. After fully retiring, he worked part time for the Colorado Rockies for 16 years and maintained his active involvement with Valley View Christian Church. Leon loved to travel; he and his wife have been to all 50 states and several countries outside of the US. He is survived by his wife Marlene; daughter, Veronica Berry (Glenn) of Elizabeth, CO; son, Scott (Laurie) and grandchildren Alex, Olivia, and Ben of Plantsville, CT; brother, Leonard (Vickye) from Dayton, TN. A brother, Larry, preceded him in death as well as his parents. Celebration of Life, Thursday, September 15, 2016, 11:00 AM, Valley View Christian Church, 11004 Wildfield Lane, Littleton, CO 80125.
