Leona Virginia Cavin

Leona passed away on January 16, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 6, 1945, in Sterling, Colorado. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Robert Cavin; daughters Jean Cavin, Carolyn Sestak and husband Scott, and Barbara McDowell and husband Michael; grandchildren Austin, Jacob, and Madelyn Sestak, and Morgan McDowell; brother Ron Kerschner and wife Judy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Angelina Kerschner. Visitation will be held on Tues., Jan. 20, starting at 3 PM with the family greeting from 5-7 PM at Horan and McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora. Mass will be held on Wed., Jan. 21 at 10:30 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 19099 E. Floyd Ave., Aurora. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Leona's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to St. Michael the Archangel.
