Leonard John Ubowski

Leonard J. Ubowski, 57, of Littleton, Colorado passed away peacefully 2/26/15. He is survived by his loving mother Katherine (a.k.a. Kay) Ubowski; brothers Chet (Sandi) Ubowski and Ron (Jen) Ubowski; sisters Diane (Art) Belz and Karen Ubowski. Len is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews as well as 6 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Henry (a.k.a. Hank) Ubowski and his brother Steven Michael Ubowski. Len was born July 2, 1957 and grew up in Wheat Ridge. He graduated from Regis High School where he played football and was on the wrestling team. As an avid sports fan he fervently followed the Broncos, the Rockies, the Nuggets, the Avalanche as well as CU Buffaloes. When not watching sports he loved movies and reading books. His hobbies also included model airplanes. With his sharp wit and smile for all, he will be dearly missed. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 23, 10:30am., St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 W. Chatfield Ave., Littleton, CO. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Leonard's name to the Boys and Girls Club for the Denver Metro area at www.bgcdm.org
