Leonard A. Wilson Sr., affectionately known as âJu-Juâ, passed away on Saturday, July 8th 2017 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born on August 3, 1935 in Pueblo, Colorado he was the son of Samuel and Delia Wilson. He graduated from Central High school and was employed at the CFI for over 30 years. Ju-Ju and the love of his life, Vivian, shared 60 incredible years of marriage. Ju-Ju was an avid golfer, and enjoyed fishing and music, especially jazz. He had an immense love for God and his family and never met a stranger. If you ever met him, you would not soon forget him. In addition to working at the CFI, he was in the Naval Reserve, law enforcement, a land surveyor, school bus driver, a business owner and a manager. Leonard is survived by his wife, Vivian Wilson -Denver; his two daughters, Darla Cintron and Dawn (Darris) Davenport - Aurora; two sons, Van (Melanie) Wilson - Colorado Springs and Leonard Wilson Jr. - Denver; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters Emma Smith - Pueblo and Thelma Gammage - California; and numerous nieces, nephews, other in-laws and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, 12 siblings, and son Rodney Wilson Sr. A memorial service will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Pueblo, 1044 Spruce St, Pueblo, CO, 81004 on Friday, July 14th at 1pm.
