Leonor ""Pinky"" Martinez, 63, passed away on December 16, 2012. Survived by her loving husband, Edward Martinez Sr.; 4 children, Tamie, Denise, Deann & Edward Jr.; 9 grandchildren, Lxander, Matthew, Jakeob, Tahnea, Marcus, Korey, Daryen, Shaiyenne & Piper; 4 great-grandchildren, Payten, Dominic, John-Michael & Isaiah; 3 sisters & 3 brothers, Sophie, Josie, Linda, Paul, John & Robert. Visitation, Thursday, December 27, 4-8pm. Recitation of the Rosary, Friday, December 28, 7pm, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton. Funeral Mass, Saturday, December 29, 10am, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 9371 Wigham Street, Thornton. God saw she was getting tired, And a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her, And whispered, ""Come with me."" With tearful eyes we watched her suffer And saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly, We could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, She is now at peaceful rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
