Leroy Hunter

LeRoy Hunter was born on December 24th, 1940 in Pueblo, Colorado. He passed away on October 17th, 2015 in Northglenn, Colorado with his beloved wife of 52 years Darlene Hunter by his side. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Howard and Janie Hunter. Survived by his wife Darlene Hunter, children Dennis Hunter and wife Tammy, Deborah Pate and husband Vernon, Diona Marquez, Crystal Hunter, brothers Earl and Fred Gunter and sister Jean Taylor, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. He worked for 29 1/2 years at Coors Brewing Company before retirement. He loved sports, music, singing, dancing, cars, and building train sets. He will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado 80229. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am, Monday, October 26, 2015 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, Colorado 80233.
