LeRoy Pacheco

LeRoy Pacheco was born January 8, 1970 in Denver, Colorado to Lorraine ""Bonnie"" Pacheco and Joe Dennis Pacheco. He passed away on September 23, 2018 at the age of 48.

LeRoy is survived by his wife of 28 years, Guadalupe Pacheco; his sons, Noah Pacheco and Jesse Lee Pacheco; his siblings, Dennis Pacheco, Lorrie Ann Butler, Michael Pacheco, Cindy Pacheco, and Ebony Hoos; as well as his beloved in-laws, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

LeRoy is preceded in death by both his parents; and his older sisters, Denise Pacheco and Bernise Pacheco.

LeRoy never took a moment of life for granted and he always had a twinkle in his eye and a mischievous smile on his face. He shared his love for life and laughter with everyone who knew him. LeRoy was an amazing and beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, friend and helping hand to anyone in need. Although LeRoy was many things to many different people, he will be remembered most as a happy, fun-loving and fearless adventurer who enjoyed his whiskey on the rocks and the Colorado mountains. At one time or another he was a hero to everyone who knew and loved him.

LeRoy was a true patriot at heart and was Honorably Discharged from the United States Air Force in 1998. Among many of his accomplishments were two tours of duty; first in Dahahran, Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Desert Storm, and then at Prince Sultan Air Base in support of Operation Southern Watch. After leaving the military, LeRoy dedicated 19 years of his life and career to Verizon Wireless; where he took immense pride in his job. LeRoy's co-workers at Verizon were a second family to him, and he worked very hard to ensure both his family at home and at Verizon could always count on him.

The Celebration of his Life will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 9:45 AM, at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home located at 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, Colorado 80227. A Committal Service with Honors will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Ave. Denver, CO 80236 – Staging Area B.
