It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Levi Kenneth Erwin, who left us unexpectedly at the young age of 19 on July 16, 2024. Levi was born on March 25, 2005, in Lakewood, Colorado. His bright spirit, kind heart, and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew him.
Levi was a high school graduate from Grandview High School in 2023 where he played football. He then attended Lincoln College of Technology in Denver and graduated with honors also in 2023 receiving his diploma in Welding and Metal Fabrication.
Levi loved his books. He talked about Berserk and Vagabond a lot. Football was always his passion. He always talked about football whether it was college or NFL with his mom and dad.
Levi is survived by his loving parents, David Erwin of Aurora, Co, and Amy Cunningham Germer (Luke) of Hartsel, Co, sisters Nyla Cunningham of Canon City, Co. , Peyton (Robert) Garcia, their 3 kids Kai, Abel and Emmerly, and Mykenna Cunningham of Colorado Springs, Co. grandparents Patricia Erwin of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Kenneth Cunningham of Hartsel, Co. & Rosina Young, Canon City, Co. and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were like family to him. He was preceded in death by his grandpa Kenneth Erwin.
The family will hold a celebration of Levi's life on July 26 2024, at 1:30 PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E. Dartmouth in Aurora, Colorado. All who loved Levi are welcome to attend and share their memories. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a GoFundMe page established in Levi's honor.
Levi's light shone brightly in his short time with us and his memory will forever be etched in our hearts. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.
