Lili, 91, died September 17, 2013, with family near her side. Born in Poland, Lili was the only survivor of the Holocaust from her family. A woman of strong Jewish faith, as a young lady, she participated in the Underground Freedom Fighters Group helping to move Jewish individuals into Israel. Eventually she came to the United States, settling in the Sacramento area. With a background in social work, she met her husband, Frank V. Elizalde, whom preceded her in death. Lili enjoyed living in the Denver area for the last several years, making many friends at her apartment complex through translating, as she knew many languages. She is survived by her children and their families. Private Family Memorial Services will be held to honor Lili.
