Lillian E. (Mickey) Davis, born in Los Angeles, on April 12, 1924, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2013. She was preceded in death by her dear husband Dean. She leaves behind her daughter Linda and son-in-law James, of Lakewood, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. Mickey met the love of her life in Los Angles and after marring him, moved to Colorado to start a new life together. During the war she worked in the US Rubber plant in Los Angeles, where she made the rubber linings of fuel tank for the B17 plane. In Colorado she worked as a bowling coach and league coordinator for numerous bowling centers. She will be remembered for seeing the world thru rose colored glasses, loving, helpful and a joy to be around. Her famous peanut brittle and chicken and home make noodles were always a hit and a request during the holidays. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband at Fort Logan National Cemetery. The family wishes to express a special ""thank you"" to everyone at ""The Gardens at Columbine"".
