Lillis Vivian Light-Grimsley

Lillis Vivian Light-Grimsley 9-1-1924 ~ 4-24-2016 Wife of the late Joy Kenneth Light and the late Jack O. Grimsley. Lillis passed away peacefully on April 24, 2016, surrounded by her family. Lillis was born on the family farm in Makaska, Kansas, the daughter of Ernest and Lillie Wells. She had one brother, Chester. Lillis was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Gillespie, and is survived by her two sons, David (Kris) and Lyle (Kay), her grandchildren, Erik Gillespie, Casey Light, Kelly Savard, and Nathan Light and eight great-grandchildren. Lillis was a long-time member of Harvey Park Baptist Church and a faithful servant of our Lord. She loved being with her family and ""The Cousins"" any chance she could. In her last years, as Macular Degeneration took her sight, her ""Talking Books"" kept her company for many hours as she always loved a good story.
