Linda Sue Barnes

Linda Sue Barnes, born January 12, 1957 in Augsburg, Germany, died August 13, 2007 at Denver Hospice Center in Aurora, Colorado. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Glenn Barnes; son Benjamin (Kim) Boehmer and daughter, Karma Barnes; five grandchildren, Devon, Jacob, Savannah, Serentity and Destany; mother Misa Cleburn; sisters, Gloria Patton and Nancy Cleburn; as well as many other relatives and friends. Linda was preceeded in death by her father, Earnest Perry Cleburn and her son, Clifford Perry Barnes. Linda graduated from Aurora Central High School in 1975. She went on to attend the Colorado Institute of Art and is a graduate of Barnes Business College. Linda was a wonderful wife who enjoyed traveling to many unique destinations with her husbad. She loved being a mom and spoiling her grandchildre, nieces and nephew. She was a skilled professional in the oil and gas industry and thouroughly enjoyed the friendship of her associates in Desk and Derrick. A little known fact is that Linda was an accomplished artist with formal training. In addition, she was always pursing new interests.
