Linda Kathleen Bonney

Linda Kathleen Bonney, age 77, passed away on February 3, 2025, in Aurora, CO. Born in Ohio, Linda was a graduate of Maple Heights High School and The Ohio State University. A Californian at heart, Linda enjoyed returning to her favorite spot down on 15th Street in Newport Beach to dip her feet in the Pacific Ocean, collect sea shells, read, and soak up the sun until it went down. She followed sports of all kinds; scorekeeping for her children's many baseball games to attending Major League matchups at stadiums nationwide. She played tennis in her younger years and followed the four tennis majors at home. She always kept her March Madness bracket up-to-date and wrote down each Rockies' win and loss on her refrigerator calendar. She was a regular at many local dining establishments and was always quick to ensure that the wait staff changed the TV to the sport of her choosing. She was a proud mother of four who suffered their endless teasing but continued to love them nevertheless, sometimes even laughing with them about it. A convert to Catholicism, she was a deeply devoted Catholic and loved to participate in the Mass through song and acted as a daily witness to trusting in the Lord. She was an example of someone filled with great patience and had an ability to suffer through unbearable struggles in her life up until the very end. She will be greatly missed.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Helen Schneider, and is survived by her husband, Jerry; children, Rachel, Michael, Jonathan and Andrew; and grandchildren, Robert, Claire, Julian, Charlotte and Benjamin. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, located at 18000 East Arapahoe Road, Foxfield, CO, 80016, on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
