Linda P. Craig

Linda P. Craig, aged 76, of Aurora, CO, embarked on her final, most magnificent adventure on December 7, 2023, after a valiant battle with her illness. Born on November 24, 1947, in Denver, CO, to Pauline Virginia Hoschouer and Eurby Lee Ketterman, Linda's journey through life was a whirlwind of love, laughter, and endless creativity.

From her early days at Sheridan High School, where she graduated in 1966, to the moment she locked eyes with James C. Craig Jr. in 1967, Linda's life was a series of beautifully scripted chapters. Their love story, which officially began on Valentine's Day in 1970, was one for the romantics, filled with passion, adventure, and the kind of love that novels are written about.

Linda's life was a portrait of devotion and versatility. As an Air Force wife, she gracefully navigated the demands of military life, supporting her husband through his career until his retirement in 1991. The couple eventually settled in the Denver area, where Linda continued to sprinkle her magic. She was not just a doting mother to James III and Tommy, but also a gifted hairdresser, a skilled seamstress, and a charismatic salesperson. Linda's hands were rarely still, always busy with reading, crocheting, and other crafts that added color and warmth to the lives of those around her.

Linda was predeceased by her beloved parents, stepfather Tommy Daniels, brother Bobby Ketterman, and a constellation of aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Yet, her legacy of joy and love continues through her husband James, sons James III (Ginny) and Tommy (Josh Wells), sister Betty Ketterman, aunt Doris Hawkins, grandchildren Shayla Skorbovienko (Yergeniy), Brianna Shipman, and Sandy Shipman, plus many cousins, nieces and nephews.
