Linda Joyce Garrett

Linda Garrett September 9, 1949 - February 24, 2017 67, originally of Craig, CO, passed into eternal life on February 24, 2017. Linda was loved by donor alliance worker Tonya Unknown; husband Jack Garrett; father Eugene Simpson; mother Beulah Simpson; children Christopher Garrett and wife Avery; Gregory Garrett and wife Mandy Garrett; Brothers Larry Simpson and Steven Simpson; Grand Children Jackson Garrett, Jaylynn Garrett, Jordan Garrett. Linda was born in Hayden Colorado in 1949 and spent her early years living on two ranches north of Craig Colorado. When she entered school her family moved to Craig Colorado and attended Yampa Elementary School and graduated from Moffat County High In the class of 1967. She then attended school at Greeley Colorado and in Denver where she met Jack Garrett. They were married in 1969 in Craig. Linda worked as an accounting clerk a Montgomery Wards on south Broadway in Denver Colorado until Gregory was born in 1975 and she was a stay at home mom until Christopher, her second son, entered the seventh grade when she began working for Jefferson County Schools until her retirement. She enjoyed her special times with her friends and also enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her Grand Children, Jackson, Jaylynn, and Jordan. Services will be held in Linda's honor on Friday, 3/3/17 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd.
