Linda May Johnson-Bruner, Age 68. Passed away June 6, 2012 in Commerce City, Colorado surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Benkelman, Nebraska on October 18, 1943 to Asa Leonard and Dorothy Johnson. Linda was raised on a small farm outside of Bird City, Kansas. Linda came to Denver Colorado after graduating high school where she raised three children, Tina, Sandy and Troy. Linda was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to draw, paint, and read. Linda had a passion for animals especially dogs, she was a member of ASPCA. Linda was a very hard working individual often having two jobs at a time including a floral designer for 20 years. Family was always her main focus. She is survived by her children, Tina Dewey (Thornton, CO), Sandy Hill (Commerce City, CO) and Troy Black (Commerce City, CO); 12 Grandchildren, Angela (Mike D.), Lisa (Mike J.), Shauna, Stacey, Amber, Annette (Matt), Christina, David, Michael, Alysia, Nicholas and Tyler; 11 Great Grandchildren, Stephani, Kaylee, Lucius, Mikayla, Hannah, Liresa, Cory, Dylan, Lavrina, Shayla and Karissa; and many who called her mom and grandma. Preceded in death by her father, Asa Leonard Johnson; mother, Dorothy Johnson; sisters, Lois Cress and Yvonne Gay Garner; brother, Gene Johnson; son-in-law, Myren Dewey; and her beloved dog, Scooter. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2012, 2:00PM at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado.
