Linda J. King

April 5, 1952 — January 10, 2014

Linda and her son Adam Chase Israel, moved to Colorado in 1989 after Linda graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism. Linda subsequently attended the University of Colorado where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Linda chose to pursue Homecare Nursing, and spent 16 years caring for her patients. We would be remiss if we did not share that Linda was an avid Broncos fan. She followed her team relentlessly, even to displaying the familiar Broncos orange and blue flag on her hospice room door at the Porter Hospice Residence. Linda is survived by her son Adam, and only grandchild, Adam Cooper Israel, who has been the light of her life since his birth fifteen months ago. In addition, she is also survived by her three siblings, and her always loving Golden Retriever, Jesse. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Elizabeth King. Linda belonged to St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church where she was a team lead Eucharistic minister. A memorial celebration in her honor will be held at St Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, located at 6673 West Chatfield Ave., Littleton, CO, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, you may send a donation to the American Cancer Society, 2255 South Oneida Street, Denver, CO 80224. Please share your memories of Linda and condolences with her family by signing the guestbook.
