Linda Paulette LoSasso was born December 31, 1953 and passed away peacefully, at the age of 68, on January 5, 2022. She born in and spent her childhood and teenage years in the small town of Plano, Illinois, where she graduated from Plano High School. Linda continued her education at Waubonsee Community College where she studied her chosen career path in the airline industry. While living in Schaumburg, Ill she worked for Delta Airlines until moving to Colorado in 1977. Linda would end her airline career in Denver with Continental Airlines in 2001, after 27 years as a Reservationist. After her years of service with the airlines Linda became that smiling face behind the counter at Vinnola’s Italian Market and Deli where she worked until retiring in 2009.
In 1976, while in Colorado for the weekend, attending the college graduation of one of her childhood friends, Linda met Clyde LoSasso. For nearly 2 years Linda and Clyde continued a long distance relationship until she took a giant leap of faith and moved to Colorado to be with Clyde. Linda and Clyde were married September 1, 1979, and were married for 42 years. Linda is survived by her husband Clyde and their 3 children, Gianna LoSasso, Clyde LoSasso Jr., and Francesca LoSasso. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Tianna, Tayden, Gaetano, and Tanner.
When Linda moved to Colorado in 1977 she embraced the Colorado life style; she learned to ski and hike in the beautiful mountains of the area and enjoyed the differences in climate when compared to Illinois. Her mother, father, brother, aunt and uncle also moved to Colorado just a few years after Linda, so her immediate family was very close and she enjoyed that close relationship.
Linda was a great homemaker and taking care of her family was her number one priority. She raised her children with tenderness and love, and remained extremely close to them until the end. Her joy was being with her grandkids; her time with them was cut way to short. Linda also loved to travel and was a sun worshiper. Her ideal vacation was laying in the warmth of the sun on a distant beach or around a pool surrounded by palm trees.
Linda was diagnosed with Early Onset Dementia in the summer of 2009. Her symptoms were barely noticeable to those outside the family circle, but they were there. The slow progression of the disease continued and in 2014 Linda was confined to her house where family provide homecare until they could no longer provide the care required to address Linda’s condition. In January of 2017 Linda joined a Memory Care Facility close to the family’s home and she remained in their care until the advanced stage of Alzheimer’s disease took her.
