Linda A. "Cookie" Maes

Linda A. "Cookie" Maes passed away Sunday June 25, 2023 peacefully in her home.

Linda was a loving, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt  and friend to all she encountered. She never met a stranger and always had a meal for anyone who needed it. She led her life with compassion, empathy and the utmost understanding for everyone. She left her family behind with the hope and wisdom she carried through her life. She was a beautiful person with a passion for gardening and her savior Jesus Christ. She will be remembered for her kindness, free spirit and the ability to make anyone feel welcome, loved and accepted.

Linda is proceeded in death by her son Jason Gurule. She is survived by her 5 children Jodean Gurule (Floyd), Michael Sanchez, Lazaro Sanchez (Adelicia) Richard Maes, Alexandra Maes (Tyler); 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 
Funeral Service, Friday, July 7, 2023, 12:00 pm, Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227. Burial in her hometown of Sanford, Colorado, Saturday July 8th at 12pm. Yellow roses are requested for anyone who would like to send arrangements.
