Linda Mattingly (Rome) passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on June 25, 2018. She was born on April 20, 1965 in Denver, Colorado. Lindaâs childhood was spent in Lakewood. When she started preschool at the little red school house, she was so little her feet couldnât touch the floor, this continued through third grade. After graduation Linda started a career in the telecommunications industry for the next 28 years. Through this career she met her first husband and they were blessed with two sons. Linda and Greg were loving parents and parted as friends. Eventually, Linda met Tim and through that relationship she gained another son and her one and only daughter. Though she was âmy other motherâ to many, she relished having the bonus plan of two additional children. Linda was a sports mom through and through, she enjoyed supporting her sons in baseball and hockey, and her niece in softball, nephews in basketball and marching band. She was an avid Broncos fan and won many football fantasy leagues. Though Lindaâs knowledge of players was not vast, she had a knack for winning these leagues multiple times and Tim ended up wearing the tee shirt âI suck at fantasy footballâ with the unicorn emblem. Linda was an expert at snapchat, she sent out multiple chats a day to brighten someoneâs life. Linda will also be remembered as a clever prankster, no one was off limits. Linda was blessed with many wonderful friends that she loved dearly, and she received so much love back. Linda was also blessed with a huge family of uncles, aunts and cousins who helped shape her personality and sense of humor. Linda was a wonderful sister to Denise (Jim) and Patrick (Shawna), and kept them on their toes. She loved her niece and nephews with all her heart and they will carry on her legacy of laughter and joy. Linda was a very loving and caring daughter, she always made sure her parents were well taken care of and cherished. We will miss our angel Linda, more than she will ever know. She is soaring with angels and watching over us now. Linda is survived by her husband, Tim Zeman; her children, Kyle Mattingly, Erik Mattingly, Nic Zeman, and Peyton Zeman; her parents, Daniel and Virginia Rome; her sister, Denise Rome-Tamulis (Jim) andher brother, Patrick (Shawna) Rome; nieces, Courtney Tamulis and Elizabeth Librande; nephews, Aaron Tamulis, Daniel Rome, Garrett Rome, and Andy Librande; her in-laws, Carland Bobbi Zeman; sister in-law Terry (Mark) Librande and her former husband, Greg Mattingly.
