Linda Lee Lennon Ratliff, 40, passed away December 14, 2005, following a couragous battle with Leukemia. Linda was born April 23, 1965, to John Alfred and Karen Ann Higgins Lennon. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Michael Gale Ratliff and their beautiful daughter, Sarah Ann Ratliff, of Aurora, CO; her mother, Karen Ann Lennon, of Michigan, and a brother, Alfred Matthew Lennon. She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Kevin John Lennon. Linda was an Electrical Engineer and worked for many years for Hughes Aerospace and Raytheon. She loved her job, gave her all to her work, and enjoyed the challenge of completing any assignment given to her. She appreciated her co-workers and enjoyed working with them. Linda had many interests and loves, including teaching and practicing yoga, swimming, cycling and running. She loved all animals but had a special love for dogs. Linda had longed to be a full-time mom and fullfilled that dream when Sarah was born seven years ago. She loved being a mom to Sarah and they treasured spending time together. One of the many things they did together was cooking and Linda loved being a chef with Sarah. Linda loved to read the Bible and found great strength in reading it during recent years of illness. She was a very kind and loving person and will be missed by many. The family will receive friends at Horan & McConaty - Parker Road , 3201 S. Parker Rd., Aurora on Monday, Dec 19th, from 5:00-7:00pm, followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, Dec 20th, 10am, at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, 18000 E. Arapahoe Rd, Foxfield, CO. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Dec 21, 12 Noon, Imperial Memorial Gardens, 5450 W. State Highway 78, Pueblo, CO.
