Linda Zimmerman Roberts passed away September 24, 2016 at the age of 75. A native of Denver, she was born August 26, 1941, the daughter of Elizabeth (Betty) and Robert (Bob) Zimmerman. She graduated from East High School and the University of Colorado with a BA - Art History. Linda was a lifelong member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. In 1965, she married her college sweetheart, Dr. John Roberts, and they lived in Paris, France for two years. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last December. Linda was active in numerous civic organizations including the Junior League of Denver and the Denver Debutante Ball. She was a founding member, president and tireless advocate of the Friends of Painting and Sculpture (FOPAS) at the Denver Art Museum. She worked in public relations at the Museum of Western Art in Denver. An accomplished athlete, Linda skied fast, played fierce tennis and was a highly competitive golfer. She will always be remembered for her warmth, organizational and leadership skills, love of people, generosity, keen appreciation of art and love of travel traversing the world twice. Linda is survived by her husband, John, son Mark (Gretchen) and their two children, John Paul and Amelia, her daughter-in-law Janine and sons Brody and Harrison. Her son Mason died unexpectedly in 2015. She is also survived by brother Edward (Karen), his son Richard and daughter Kathy. There will be a Celebration of Life on November 5, 2016 from 2-4 at Cherry Hills Country Club.
