Linda Shomshor

Linda Shomshor, age 81, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 6, 2025. Linda was born on June 1, 1943 in Stockton California, daughter to Joseph and June Guzman.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband William of 38 years, parents Joseph, June, and brother Robert.

Linda is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wiliam (Donna), and Mark, five grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Brian, Courtney, and Warren, and three great grandchildren, Marcus, Colton, and Claire.

Linda graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1961 and continued her education at Nebraska State Teachers College in Kearney until she married William in 1963. Linda worked in the banking industry until hiring on with Mountain Bell in the late 70’s. Linda worked many different positions within the phone company before retiring in 2001.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday March 21, 2025 at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Aurora. 

A Committal Service will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
