Lindsay Halvarson

Lindsay Lee Halvarson left this earth on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at the young age of 42. Lindsay was born on December 16, 1979, to Steven H. Halvarson and Debra J. Halvarson in Longmont, Colorado. Lindsay grew up in Aurora from the age of four and lived there until her passing. She graduated from Eaglecrest High School in 1998.

Lindsay is survived by her son Joél Fernandez, her mother Debra Halvarson, her brother, Chad (Lauren) Halvarson, her loving niece and nephews Emily, Reece, and Dylan Halvarson, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lindsay loved being with her son Joél more than anything. He is and will always be her biggest and best accomplishment as well as the greatest love of her life. Her affection for and the pride she had in her son was ever-present. Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of a life cut short; however, her memory will live on in the heart of her son and the rest of her family.

Lindsay's bright light and amazing smile left us way too soon. She had a heart of gold and loved helping people in their time of need. No matter what was going on in her life, if someone needed help, Lindsay was there. Lindsay was an incredibly loyal friend. She had a fierce spirit that inspired her to become the person she was and a wild attitude about life. She was one of those people that was beautiful both inside and out.

We will miss you endlessly, Lindsay, and may you finally rest in peace.

Lindsay is preceded in death by her father, Steve Halvarson, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

No funeral will be held at this time. There will be a viewing on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Horan & McConaty, located at 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO 80014, from 11 AM - 4 PM.
