Lisa Lorraine Gomez

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Lisa Lorraine Gomez on December 24, 2024. During her final journey she was surrounded by her family.

Lisa was born on April 20, 1963, to Belarmino and Lucy Santistevan in Denver, Colorado. Lisa continued to live her life in Denver, and she went on to graduate from West High School. After graduating she started her career in the banking industry and worked there for many years. In the time being she married her high school sweetheart Roy and together they had two loving children Emily and Dominic.

Lisa was someone who loved so hard and with everything she had. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, relative, and friend. Lisa had a fun and adventurous spirit, and you knew she was happy around her loved ones when you would hear her infectious laugh fill the room. Disneyland was one of her favorite places to be, and she was genuinely happy to be able to see her children and her granddaughter Winnie enjoy the "Happiest Place on Earth." She will always be remembered for her young-at-heart spirit and her big, beautiful smile complete with her signature red lipstick.

She is survived by her Husband of 37 years Roy Gomez, Daughter Emily Gomez, Son Dominic Gomez, Daughter-in-law Michelle Swimmer, and Granddaughter Winnie Gomez. Siblings Gloria Ledezma, Jim Santistevan, Mark Santistevan, Tony (Loretta) Santistevan, Sister-in-law Rosann Santistevan, Aunt Tina (Pete) Mendez, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her Parents Belarmino and Lucy Santistevan, and her Brother John Santistevan.

Reception in her honor will be held on January 9th, 2025 at 02:00 pm at Green Gables Clubhouse 2139 S. Reed St, Lakewood, Colorado 80227
