Lisa J. Gould

Lisa Jan Gould, 48, of Littleton Colorado passed on October 8, 2009 at Porter Hospice at The Johnson Center after a long, courageous battle with lung cancer. Lisa, wife of Joseph T. Gould; mother of Joel and Kristin Gould; daughter of Martin and Janet Klein; sister of Jay Klein and his wife Denise. Other survivors include her father-in-law Jay Gould and his wife Marge; brothers and sisters-in law Mike Gould, Mary and Russ Klein, Tom and Kim Gould, Ann and Andy Potarf, Sheila and Dave Miller, Liz and Eric Andrews; eighteen nieces and nephews. Lisa was born on June 3, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. At a young age, she moved with her family to Minnesota where she loved riding her horse and enjoyed the outdoor activities that the Minnesota lakes bring. Lisa was then introduced to the beautiful state of Colorado, where she attended Evergreen High School and became an all-star athlete in diving and track. Lisa also enjoyed spending time watching Joel and Kristin live their dreams on the ball field. She enjoyed watching her husband Joe coach their kids year after year; and when time allowed, she loved being with her family in New York City. Most of all, Lisa was the kind of person who took care of and put people before herself. A Funeral Service in Lisa's honor will be held Monday, October 12, 2009 beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (just one block to the west of Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado. Interment follows, for the family only, at Evergreen Memorial Park. A reception will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the Andrews' residence at 5968 South Zenobia Court, in Littleton, Colorado.
