Lisa Santos

Lisa Jan Santos, 50, passed away at her home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado on August 13, 2009. Lisa was born in Hiawatha, Kansas on September 13, 1958, raised in Highland, Kansas, where she attended schools, including Highland Community College, where she received an Associated Arts Degree. Lisa married Jim Santos in Highland, Kansas on April 26, 1986. Lisa loved Colorado where she lived the rest of her life. She worked at Digital Equipment Corporation, United Airlines until she was diagnosed with MS at age 30. Lisa is survived by her husband Jim; son David; daughter Brianna all of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; mother-in-law Berlinda Santos; parents Jim and Helen Gilmore; brothers Brad Gilmore (Becky), Mark Gilmore (Rhonda), Michael Gilmore all of Kansas. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 2:00 P.M., at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, (one block to the west of Holly Street) in Centennial, Colorado. Reception following services at Wolhurst Adult Community Park Club House. Committal Service will take place at a later date in Highland, Kansas.
