Lois Virginia Bewersdorf

Lois Virginia Bewersdorf (Kozick), Parker, CO (formerly of Stuart, FL) Lois Bewersdorf, age 92, went to her eternal heavenly home on March 13, 2015, the 72nd Anniversary of her marriage to her beloved husband, Marvin Bewersdorf, who passed away in 2008. Lois was born in Oak Park, Illinois on November 11, 1922 to Joseph and Edna Kozick. Lois and Marvin Bewersdorf were married on March 13, 1943 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Forest Park, IL. They resided in Wheaton, IL before they retired in 1981 and moved to the southeast Florida coast. Lois and Marvin enjoyed a 25-year retirement in Florida spending many happy hours on their boat. She was an avid water skier and loved dancing and the opera. Lois was an active church member, and served as assistant treasurer at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Stuart, FL. Lois was a loving mother of three sons (Jack, Bob, and Jim), and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, and son, John Allen (Jack). Lois also loved her God and is a member of Shepard of the Hills Lutheran Church, Centennial, Colorado, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015. Arrangements are being handled by Horan & McConaty 5303 E. County Line Rd., Centennial, CO 80122.
